April Round-Up

It’s been a really positive and productive month in the studio, with plenty of live projects progressing and a number of exciting new opportunities on the horizon.

This month, we’re also celebrating 20 years of Metchley Manor! A Regency-inspired care home in the heart of Edgbaston, Birmingham, originally designed for Sunrise Senior Living. Built on the site of the former Sense charity complex, the scheme was carefully designed to sit comfortably within its historic setting whilst navigating the challenges of a site next to the railway. Now managed by Care UK, the building continues to provide luxury, life-enabling care for older adults. How time flies!

In regards to new opportunities, we’ve also recently met with Osprey and will be providing additional support on project design and drawing packages across a number of sites nationwide, with several new opportunities beginning to take shape.

On Site Progress

Wendover Manor continues to move forward steadily, with the roof structure now complete and the building set to be watertight in the coming days. Internal partitions and first fix services are progressing well at ground floor level, it’s fantastic to see this project coming to life.

Following an exciting recent pre-start meeting, works at Nazareth Care, Hammersmith are set to recommence. This is a significant refurbishment project that we’re looking forward to seeing back on site and sharing more as it progresses over the coming months.

Our Busy Bees nursery in Binfield is also coming along nicely, with the building now clearly taking shape, a great milestone within our education portfolio.

In the Studio

The office has also had a small upgrade, with our new signage now installed, thanks to Printflow Communications for delivering the final result, with a plaque to follow shortly. The recent run of sunny days has made for some great outdoor lunchtime breaks, making the most of our lovely Harpenden surroundings.
