Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton
Full implementable planning permission for a care home on the site was granted in October 2009 and allowed for a three-storey building that encompassed underground parking, and landscaped gardens with mature trees.
The site was the optimum size for accommodating residents moving from the group's Richmond home.
The state-of-the-art facilities in the new home also allowed the Charity to offer secure dementia care and, if necessary, interim care for younger disabled ex-Service people.
Our client was delighted when the new home won first place in the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards in the large care home category.
