Stephen is a Chartered Architect with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and residential sectors. With expertise that spans architecture, interior design, project management, and a particular talent for detail and organisation (and a well-structured Excel spreadsheet), Stephen has been integral to the growth of Scurr Architects since its inception. He has played a key role in developing the firm’s specialist expertise in both care home and hospitality design, driven by a deep understanding of clients’ operational needs and expectations. He defined the firm’s core values, instilling a commitment to quality, creativity, and the fostering of long-term client relationships that remains at the heart of the company.
Outside of work, Stephen is an avid photographer, and an extraordinary maître-d’, chef, and host at the annual Scurr barbeque.
